Modification of Dugdale Model to Include the Work Hardening and in and out of Plane Constraints

Abstract
The paper is an extension of the author’s earlier publication in whichDugdale strip yield zone (SYZ) model was generalized from thin specimens (modeled asdominated by plane stress condition) to specimens of arbitrary thickness. Now the modelhas been extended to include the in – plane constraint as well as the effect of the strainhardening of the material within SYZ.
