Abstract
In the present work fatigue behaviour of cracked concrete is studied by means of direct tension tests on cylindrical specimens. Normal strength concrete
as well as high strength concrete with different volume fractions of steel and carbon fibres are subjected to cyclical loads with different amplitudes. The
experimental results are compared with some theoretical models available into the literature.
